ഒരു മട്ടത്രികോണത്തിലെ കർണമല്ലാത്ത വശത്തിന്റെ മധ്യലംബം കർണത്തെ സമഭാഗം ചെയ്യും.

1. Theorem: The line joining the midpoints of any two sides of a triangle will be half the length of the third side.

2. Theorem : The perpendicular bisector of any side other than the hypotenuse of a right triangle will bisect the hypotenuse.

Given a right triangle with 'unit length' base and 'x unit' height. construct X^2 using compass and straight edge?

Let ABC be right traingle with Angle A=90,AB=1&AC=x
1. Elongate BA
2. Draw perpendicular bisector of BC to intersect elongated line at O.
3. Find a point D on the same elongated line such that OD=OB

Then AD= x^2

If x=2, x^2=4

If x=3, x^2=9

To be added:
This question can be interpreted in anotherway using co-ordinate geometry.

See fig.
Elongate CA and consider these perpendiculars BD and CA as X,Y axes respectively.
Take B as 1 and C as x.
Then D is x^2.
Here D can be obtained directly as the point of intersection of X axis and the perpendiculr to BC through C.

ചരിഞ്ഞതാണെങ്കിലും പരസ്പരം സമാന്തരങ്ങളായ രണ്ട് ഭിത്തികള്‍. ഇതില്‍ വ്യത്യസ്ത നീളത്തിലുള്ള രണ്ട് ഏണികള്‍ (PR, QS) ചാരിവെച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ഏണികളുടെ സംഗമ ബിന്ദുവായ M ല്‍ നിന്ന് 'R'ലേക്കുള്ള ഉയരം ( MR അല്ല ) 4 മീറ്റര്‍. R ല്‍ നിന്ന് S ലേക്കുള്ള ഉയരം (അകലമല്ല) 5 മീറ്റര്‍. എങ്കില്‍ M എന്ന ബിന്ദു തറയില്‍ നിന്നു എന്ത് ഉയരത്തിലായിരിക്കും?

5 വരികളിലും 5 നിരകളിലുമായി , ഒരു വരിയില്‍ 4 ഇഷ്ടികകള്‍ വരത്തക്ക വിധം 100 ഇഷ്ടികകള്‍ അട്ടിയിട്ടു വെച്ചതായിരുന്നു ഫൈസു.അതില്‍ നിന്നും കുറെ എണ്ണം റിയാസ് എടുത്തു മാറ്റി വെച്ചു.
എത്ര എണ്ണമാണ് റിയാസ് മാറ്റിവെച്ചതെന്ന് പറയാമോ?
എവിടെ ആണ് റിയാസ് അത് വെച്ചതെന്ന് കണ്ടുപിടിക്കുക.

From First set of 25 , he kept as it is.
From second set he took 25
From third set he took 25-9=16
From Fourth set he took - 0 (remains as it is)
So 25+25+16=66 pcs which is in 3d stack(the picture)
He kept aside 9+25 = 34
So 34+66=100

3^2 + 4^2 = 5^2

33^2 + 44^2 =55^2

333^2 + 444^2 = 555^2
